Student Success Stores is volunteer-led by a strong group of leaders. We are a mix of educators, corporate associates, and non-profit sector contributors who are all working to help students succeed.

 
 

Executive Board Members

Deanna Romine, President

DeAnna Romine a long-time resident of Columbus, received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Franklin University and MBA from Ohio Dominican University.  She has spent most of her career in Human Resources and is currently a Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager at PNC National Bank.  As an HR Operation Manager, her responsibility is to ensure administrative tasks are completed both accurately and efficiently. She is excited for the opportunity to serve on Student Success Store board as she believes in the importance of students to have what they need, so they can focus on school and their future. 

Allison McKinley, Vice President

Allison McKinley has a background in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Gifted Education. Her passion for helping students get the resources and encouragement they need to thrive makes her a perfect fit to help lead our volunteer board. Allison enjoys running, Pilates, reading, and is a huge fan of the Columbus Crew.

Nicole Hebert-Ford, Operations Chair & Co-Founder

Nicole is a proud Middle School Counselor in Columbus City Schools. She began her career in education as a 7th Grade Science Teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, through Teach For America. While teaching, she earned her Master’s in Secondary Science Education from Arizona State University. After two years in Arizona, Nicole returned back to her home in central Ohio where she worked in youth services for the Columbus Metropolitan Library for two years and then continued teaching 7th grade science in Reynoldsburg City Schools for five years. Driven by her passion for student success and well-being, Nicole went on to earn her Master’s in School Counseling from The Ohio State University, where she graduated as Student of the Year. In addition to Nicole's board service, Nicole has served as a Volunteer Mentor with Franklin County Children's Services for the past 11 years. In 2024, Nicole was honored as an Everyday Kindness Hero by the Center for HumanKindness at The Columbus Foundation.

 

Olivia Stoneburner, Secretary

Olivia Stoneburner is a school counselor at Columbus City Schools. Olivia brings a familiarity with the school system, as well as as expertise in strategic planning and resource development to our board and is excited to serve in the capacity of our secretary. Olivia has been advocating for SSS in her day to day working with students and other educators and is excited at the continued work she can do as an official part of our board. Olivia graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Social Work and a masters degree in School Counseling from Capital University. Olivia is currently in her 6th year as a School Counselor in Columbus City Schools. She is extremely passionate about her students and ensuring they have their basic needs met.

 

Alfred Yates, Community Partnerships Chair

Alfred Yates also works at JP Morgan Chase and grew up just north of Columbus and has lived in Central Ohio his entire life.
He has volunteered for over 100 organizations within the city which has caused him to fall more in love with Columbus every day.
Alfred loves all things maps. He has a room full of different kinds of Ohio/Columbus maps in his home.

Clare Woods, Marketing chair

Clare Woods is Manager of Integrated Marketing Strategies at a local marketing agency, Third Street Digital. In this role she creates measurable digital strategies for local and regional businesses. When Clare is not creating or analyzing campaigns, you can find her adventuring with her rescue pups or trying a new recipe in the kitchen. Clare is excited to join the Student Success Stores board as she believes that equipping students with the basic necessities to learn has the ability to impact not only the lives of students, but also the future of our community.

Edwige Beutel, Human Resources Chair

Edwige grew up in the suburbs of New York City, and lived in Chicago and Boston before coming to Columbus in 2018. Edwige is a Teach for America alum and spent a decade working in education. She has a passion for equitable learning access and brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our mission. In her free time she enjoys baking, exercising, and making memories with her son and husband.

Delilah Nuñez, legal chair

Delilah Nuñez is an attorney who specializes in family law and serves as a guardian ad litem, mediator, and parenting coordinator. She has been featured on ABC6-TV’s “Ask the Attorney Panel” and was featured on NBC4 for her testimony before the Ohio Criminal Justice Committee. Delilah holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Communication from Ohio University and a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Capital University Law School.
